The Rotary Club of York-East supports local York County
charities and international missions each year. Our support
comes in the form of cash grants to local social service
agencies and financial matching contributions to international
projects also funded by The Rotary Foundation. The source
of our financial support comes from many club fundraising
and social events - all of which are open to the public.
Please see our club calendar of events on this website or
any member of the club for information on our next event.
The theme for the 2007-2008 Rotary year is Rotary Shares.

Each year the Rotary Club of York East undertakes a number
of projects designed to raise funds which are distributed
to local charities. In July and August, the Rotary Club
of York-East accepts applications from charitable organizations
seeking funds from our club. From the list of applicants,
two to three are chosen each year. Throughout the year we
raise the needed funds and award our support grants at end
of year meetings in June. Other smaller donations are budgeted
for persons or agencies that correspond with us throughout
the year with requests for assistance. Please contact us
if you would like your charitable organization to be considered
for funding in a future Rotary Year.
The Rotary Club of York-East also affiliates with the following
York area school districts:
Central School District
York County School of Technology
York Suburban School District
Each month, we feature two students of the month to share
their scholastic and extracurricular achievements with our
club. We also select students to receive the Rotary Youth
Leadership Awards (RYLA). You may check with your guidance
counselor for more information on becoming a Rotary Student
of the Month at York-East.
